At Hopeline Christian Society we have set up the requirement of self-supported ministers and missionaries having to have a membership for support is because we have a philosophy of not just giving something for nothing because it is easy for someone abuse as well as it is easily not appreciated what they are receiving, if it doesn’t cost them anything. We believe the same for all the people we are trying to help whether they are Christians wanting a better relationship with God, the ministers and missionaries or those living in poverty that we are trying to help. This is why we believe in giving those living in poverty hand ups (jobs) and not handouts. Scripture say that if we don’t work we don’t eat. This is the same for our ministers and missionaries; they need to have something invested in our program to appreciate it. If not they can just take advantage of it without thankfulness to God. We are not asking for much in comparison to how much they are going to receive from it.

This is where our dilemma is. We want to help all self-supported ministers and missionaries that are truly serving Christ but are unable to help those who have very little income so we have come up with a way to help them and have them have a part in building their support without any financial cost to them.

New Registration for Self-Supported Ministers and Missionaries
Effective May 8, 2014

We will implement a $10 registration for self-supported ministers and missionaries who want support. This is to make sure that they are serious to work with Hopeline Christian Society and not trying to scam us for money which would normally go to those serving God with a right heart. It is also important for self-supported ministers and missionaries to know that it is as important for them to give to others just as they receive from others. This registration will go towards our administrative costs and verifying the self-supported Christian minister and missionaries status.

We will then allow them to delay their monthly support gifts until the beginning of their 3rd month if they choose too. In this time they can choose to become part of our “Fast Track” program or not. If they choose not to participate in the “Fast Track” program then after their free month they will have to maintain their $10 membership like normal *support member until they start receiving support. However, if they choose to be part of the “Fast Track” program they will have two months to refer 5 or more *support members. If they work at it and get their 5 *support members (they can continue going through all 9 levels if they want to $ 2,000/month) and maintain at least 5 *support members in that month Hopeline Christian Society will pay their membership fee until they start receiving support. This is only a delay in their support for their giving for those who are self-supported ministers and missionaries. When they start receiving support we will then deduct the amount we paid evenly out of their first 5 support checks. For example if they take 5 months to receive support with 1 month free and 4 months to be paid back which is $40 divided by 4 months leaves $8/month taken off their first 5 support checks. With this they will be able to wait out the support waiting list time with no monitory output by putting in a little work promoting Hopeline Christian Society (which we would hope they would do anyway) and helping other ministers, missionaries and those living in poverty as well.

If they do not get their 5 supported members then they will be asked to continue on like normal giving the $10/month until they start receiving support. To prevent abuse of our system with someone just wanting support at no cost or work for them we will have the following policy in place. If after the second month a minister or missionary chooses not to continue with giving the $10/month and only wants to wait until their name comes up on the list and then join in and start receiving support they will have to re-apply for support, give back payments of the $10/month from when they first started and then wait 6 more months while paying regular membership before collecting support if their name has already come up on the support list and if not then they would continue as normal until they start receiving support.

In that two months they will also have the opportunity to find someone else to support them by paying their $10/month support for them until they start receiving support if they want too. This is a lot like what they would have to do if they are already ministers and missionaries living on support. The only difference is we are offering something a lot more financial benefits to them.

We believe we are not asking much for what we are giving in return. If it takes approximately 6 months or less of giving $10/month (and possibly nothing) to receive $125/month and in 8 years maximum (as little as 6 months to a year with the “Fast Track” program) receiving $2,000/month indefinitely as long as they remain a self-supported minister or missionary in good standing.

All we are asking is that ministers and missionaries help other ministers, missionaries as well as those living in poverty living in 3rd world countries like we are asking all other Christians to do for them while they wait for their support to start.

*Supported Members are those that average giving is $10/month. Examples: 1 support member = 1 person giving $10/month or 2 persons giving $5/month.

We have done this to mostly help our national self-supported ministers and missionaries who have a harder time to receive support and have lower incomes.

*We will honor commitments to all ministers and missionaries with our previous policy who are registered by May 7, 2014. They also must start giving their support by May 8th, 2014 if their free month is passed as stated in the April 7th Membership update.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It has been awhile since I have been able to communicate with everyone. This might be a little long, however I believe it is needed. I have been very busy working a fulltime job and another 50-60+ hours per week on Hopeline Christian Society. I've been working on building the massive international database and all of the other things it takes to build and take this organization to the next level of helping the people serving Christ around the world and to begin providing jobs in Haiti to get Haitians out of poverty and start having better living conditions there. We still have a long way to go however God is with us and we are at the next important step.

Whether you are a Support Member that is just wanting to support ministers, missionaries, the poor in 3rd world countries (Hopefully starting with Haiti this summer or fall), and wanting to be a part of what God is doing around the world or if you are a “Support Member” that is a minister or missionary needing support, we are at a pivotal time in this ministry. This is a ministry of Christians helping other Christians and growing in Christ, founded on our relationship with Christ, and being faithful and obedient to Him in wanting to reach the lost and hurting around the world. We are all here because we heard His call in our lives and want to be His hands and feet. Therefore all of us made a decision to join Him in Hopeline Christian Society for this purpose.

Some of you have been so faithful in your commitment in giving your support to help those in need which is very much appreciated because we would not be here if it weren’t for your faithfulness in Christ. Some have forgotten because of the business of life and just need a reminder, others have had financial issues, and others of you have had no way to give your support because you are living in a country that has no infrastructure to give. No matter what reason you were unable to start giving, we need you to begin this process for the Kingdom of God and what Christ wants to do through this ministry around the world.

Over the last couple months we have worked hard to put things in place so that almost everyone can begin giving (some countries we are still working on but we will work it out with you). In Canada and the United States or anyone with a credit card you can give their $10 per month or whatever you choose to give online at www.hopeline.org and now through PayPal as well. In Haiti you can contact Sauveur-junior Ovilmar (junior@hopeline.org) and in Pakistan contact Amen Raina (contact me if you need her email address at membership@hopeline.org) to give your monthly support.

Ministers and missionaries wanting support, we know that finances are tight for you. That is why we have given you one month to get someone to help pay your membership. By referring enough “Support Members” to not have to give your $10 per month or to actually begin receiving support with enough “Support Members.” However if you have not done that it is still very important for you to give your membership support by the end of April for you to qualify to keep your place in line for future support and not encounter the penalty of delayed support as explained on the website, unless you still have time remaining on your first free month of support or you met the requirements of not having to give support through the “Fast Track” program. We have delayed this obligation and penalty until now when we have the infrastructure together to begin receiving and giving more support in 3rd world countries and move forward. Most ministers and missionaries that start giving their membership support now should start receiving their support within 2 to 8 months depending on when you joined, the latest may have to wait up to 10 months. However if you do not start this month, you will have to wait at least 1 ½ years or more and have to give more and all at once. Remember your support will start at $125 per month which is more than the total of your present giving time. We believe that God designed this ministry in this way because of His financial principals of learning to be givers before being receivers as Christian leaders.

Salutations au nom de notre Seigneur et Sauveur Jésus-Christ . Il a été pendant quelque temps depuis que je suis en mesure de communiquer avec tout le monde . C'est peut-être un peu long, mais je crois qu'il est nécessaire . J'ai été très occupé à travailler un emploi à temps plein et un autre de 50-60 heures par semaine sur Hopeline société chrétienne. Nous avons encore un long chemin à parcourir mais Dieu est avec nous et nous sommes à la prochaine étape importante .

Que vous soyez un membre de soutien qui est juste désireux de soutenir les ministres , les missionnaires, les pauvres en 3ème pays du monde (J'espère commencer par Haïti cet été ou à l'automne ) , et de vouloir être une partie de ce que Dieu fait dans le monde ou si vous sont un " soutien aux membres de " qui est un ministre ou missionnaire besoin de soutien , nous sommes à un moment crucial dans ce ministère . Il s'agit d'un ministère de chrétiens aidant d'autres chrétiens et de plus en plus dans le Christ , fondée sur notre relation avec le Christ , et d'être fidèle et obéissant à lui en voulant atteindre les perdus et mal dans le monde. Nous sommes tous ici parce que nous avons entendu son appel dans nos vies et nous voulons être ses mains et ses pieds . Par conséquent nous tous pris la décision de se joindre à lui dans Hopeline société chrétienne à cet effet .

Certains d'entre vous ont été si fidèle à votre engagement en donnant votre soutien pour aider les personnes dans le besoin qui est très apprécié parce que nous ne serions pas ici si ce n'était pas pour votre fidélité au Christ . Certains ont oublié à cause de l' affaire de la vie et juste besoin d'un rappel , d'autres ont eu des problèmes financiers , et d'autres parmi vous ont eu aucun moyen de donner votre soutien parce que vous vivez dans un pays qui n'a pas d' infrastructure à donner. Peu importe quelle raison vous étiez incapable de commencer à donner , nous avons besoin de vous pour commencer ce processus pour le Royaume de Dieu et ce que le Christ veut faire par ce ministère dans le monde entier .

Au cours des deux derniers mois , nous avons travaillé dur pour mettre les choses en place de sorte que presque tout le monde peut commencer à donner ( certains pays, nous travaillons toujours sur , mais nous allons travailler avec vous ) .
